Certificates & Diplomas

After the successful completion of various tests / quizzes, the student must pass a practical examination in Gem Identification and a written examination in theory for Course No.1. For Course No.2 a written examination in theory and a practical examination in Diamond Grading must be passed.

Similarly for course No.3 a written examination in theory and practical examination in advanced gem identification must be passed.

For course No.4 (Private Individual Course) a written examination in Theory & Practical examination should be passed.

For course No.5 (Distance Education) various ASSIGNMENTS should be completed and a Final Examination in Theory & Practical must be passed.

The passing grade for practical examinations is 80% and written examination is 75% On successful completion of the course(s) the student is awarded IIG DIPLOMA(S) IN GEMOLOGY.

However people who do not wish to appear for Final Theory & Practical examinations a ‘CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION’ is awarded. Similarly for seminars on individual topics a ‘CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION’ is awarded
